Landscape company going greener.
The very nature of our company allows us to do a lot of good for the planet. We plant a lot of trees, plants and bug, loving lawns (assuming people don’t ask for artificial grass!).
However, the diesel pumping diggers and petrol fuel hand held machines are not quite so green!
Over time Charles is slowly introducing battery operated machinery for our team. We’ve already started with hedge cutters. The new rechargeable battery STIHL machine has cut down the use of fuel, the vibrations and noise it creates and is an all round lighter machine to handle for our lads.
We’re hoping by 2021 all our hand held machines will be like this, and in the mean time, we’ll make sure our current machines are well maintained and running as efficiently as they can be.
