If at first you don’t succeed… just leave your plants to do their own thing!

A classic gardening scenario.  I’ve been trying to grow agapanthus in my garden for years with no joy.  It’s no secret that these are my favourite plants, a visit to New Zealand and more locally Cornwall, re-confirms this to me every time i visit there.  They are however, a complete pain to grow in certain areas of the UK! Yet this year, when to be honest I’ve had the least amount of time to ‘encourage their growing’, they’ve bloomed! Typical.  Plants are just amazing.  They’ll do what they want to do!  So have faith in your garden and sometimes, we just need to let them be.
